Opera One for iOS brings Image Understanding support
The Image Understanding feature is an AI tool that helps users gain more information about their surroundings, solve problems, write code, and more by using photos or images as input.
To use this function available to Opera One users on iOS, you simply need to upload one or more photos and ask Opera’s built-in AI, Aria, about their content. Aria will then start providing you with all the details you need to know about the image.
For example, users visiting a historical site or museum can upload a photo of the location to Opera One and request a detailed explanation from Aria about the history and architecture of the place. Opera’s Product Manager, Jona Bolin, said the following about the new feature:
“We are seeing more and more people choosing Opera One. Our mission at Opera is to deliver a superior browsing experience compared to what you’ll find on iOS. Image Understanding is the next step in fulfilling this promise to our users.”
